Volunteers with local domain knowledge & professional experience in the following fields are needed to assist in production of Peak Valley Risk research.
Your contributions will assist in developing community-led, expert-driven research regarding the effects of the CO₂ pipeline construction on the Peak District National Park and nearby rural areas of Cheshire.
Wildlife and habitat — impacts on flora, fauna, sensitive sites, designated areas (SSSI, SAC, SPA).
Ground conditions, karst geology, mining legacy, slope stability, hydrogeology along the route.
Behaviour of dense-phase and gas-phase CO₂, contaminant interactions, atmospheric dispersion, water/soil chemistry.
